Nrupatunga Betta Is A Hidden Gem In Hubli

We took our 2-wheeler, turned on the location, and set off on our little adventure to this hidden gem in Hubli. Nrupatunga Betta, a peaceful hillock, is known for its breathtaking panoramic views. It’s a favourite spot among locals, especially those who love morning walks, trekking, or simply soaking in nature’s calm. But honestly, we weren’t prepared for the beauty that awaited us. As we arrived, we were welcomed by lush greenery, fresh air, and a soothing sense of serenity that instantly made us feel at peace.

As we explored this park, we came across a temple and a dargah nestled within the park. It was fascinating to see how this place beautifully blends spirituality with nature’s tranquillity.

We discovered that this hill has several viewpoints. Among all of these, Nrupatunga Betta Viewpoint 1 is the most popular. It’s an easy trek to the top, and the effort is well worth it as it offers a mesmerising view of the surrounding area. The entire area is well-maintained, properly clean, and accessible to people of all ages. As we climbed, the cityscape slowly faded behind us, replaced by scenic landscapes and an endless sky.

After reaching the viewpoint 1, we were truly mesmerised by the views of both Hubli and Dharwad and also the Unkal Lake. And if you’re a sunset lover, this place won’t disappoint you. We personally have witnessed the sunset from there. Ahhhhhhh! Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, was an experience that felt almost surreal—absolutely stunning!
